Shanyrak Day — Family and Family Values Day

On March 17, 2025, as part of the “Nauryznama” decade, a ceremonial event was held dedicated to “Shanyrak Küni” — Shanyrak Day, symbolizing family unity, generational continuity, and the enduring nature of the traditional values of the Kazakh people.

Shanyrak is one of the most revered symbols of Kazakh culture, embodying the stability of the family hearth, the upbringing of the younger generation in the spirit of respect for national traditions, patriotism, responsibility, and diligence.

On the occasion of this momentous day, the Youth Council organized a family relay race called “Family Competitions”, in which station employees participated together with their children. The event was aimed at promoting Kazakh national games among the younger generation, as well as creating a favorable atmosphere for wholesome family recreation and strengthening family bonds.
