On October 8, a civil protection training seminar was held at Ekibastuz GRES-1, with the participation of representatives of the Department of Emergency Situations of Pavlodar Region and the city of Ekibastuz. The event was attended by the station’s management team and employees.
The main objective of the training was to enhance employees’ knowledge and ensure a clear understanding of the procedures to follow in the event of an emergency.
The seminar covered the requirements of regulatory legal acts, the organization of civil protection at the enterprise, response procedures for various emergencies, evacuation rules, and the establishment and operation of civil protection units.
Particular attention was paid to personnel preparedness for potential threats, coordinated actions among employees, and compliance with safety requirements during emergency drills and training exercises.
A separate section of the training focused on first aid. Participants were reminded of the basic procedures to follow in cases of injury or a person’s deteriorating condition before medical personnel arrive.
The specialists also provided information on water safety rules, accident prevention measures, and the contents of an emergency preparedness kit, which should be assembled in case of evacuation or a prolonged stay in an emergency situation.
To reinforce their knowledge, employees completed a test and participated in themed crossword puzzles on civil protection.
Civil protection means knowledge, responsibility, and readiness to act correctly. Safety begins with preparedness!
