On October 8, the Plenum of the Republican Committee of the Public Association "Kazakhstan Energy Sector Trade Union" was held for the first time in the city of Ekibastuz. The event was attended by the chairmen of trade union organizations of the country's largest energy enterprises from Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Kokshetau, and other regions of Kazakhstan. Veterans of the trade union movement were also invited.

The plenary session focused on the key areas of implementation of the strategy of trade unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025-2030 under the title "Fair Labor in the Era of Change: Protection, Development, and Innovation". The Chairman of the Kazakhstan Sectoral Trade Union of Energy Workers, Bekbas O.T., presented a report on this issue. As a result of the discussion, proposals were made and a corresponding resolution was adopted.

The plenary session was held on the eve of the celebration of the 120th anniversary of the trade union movement in Kazakhstan. On this day, awards were presented by the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Energy Industry Trade Union. Among the awardees were employees of the Bulat Nurzhanov Ekibastuzskaya GRES-1 LLP:

• Alexander Nikolaevich Sannikov, a 5th-grade fuel supply equipment repairman at TTC-1;

• Kulpenov Kuandykov Sultanbekovich, 5th-grade repairman of steam and gas turbine equipment in the RTO workshop;

• Abdrakhmanov Nariman Kairollaevich, 5th-grade repairman of steam and gas turbine equipment in the ROOK workshop;

• Koshlov Alexander Madudovich, 5th-grade electric and gas welder in the EROO workshop.

Veterans of the trade union movement received commemorative gifts.
