The annual mini-spartakiad among structural divisions dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the professional holiday - the Day of the Power Engineer has ended at Ekibastuz GRES–1 named after B. Nurzhanov LLP. Sports competitions were held from November 30 to December 8, bringing together the station's employees in the spirit of team rivalry and a healthy lifestyle.

On November 30, a table tennis tournament was held with the participation of 31 people. In the men's category, Madi Begimov (Electric Workshop), Tulegen Ramazanov (RTO), Eset Kairbayev (EROO Workshop). Among the women are Gulbarshin Kenzhetaeva (PPBOTOS management), Marina Dymova (OMTS), Botakoz Kaskirbayeva (Chemical Workshop).

On December 1, the Arkan Tartu tournament was held, where the places were distributed as follows: TTC-1, KTC-2, KTC-1. On the same day, a volleyball tournament was held, 5 teams were announced. TTC-1, RVOC, KTC-1.

On December 6, the staff competed in chess. Sultan Balguzinov (OMTR), Alkuatberdy Sandibaev (KTC-2), Bakibai Baltenov (KTC-2). In the togyzkumalak tournament among 10 participants (7 men and 3 women) Murat Kabulov (KTC-1), Asset Tuleubaev (TTC-1), Farhad Shekhov (Electric Workshop).

On December 7, a mini-football tournament was held, where 6 teams participated. The victory was won by the KTC-1 team, the second place was taken by the TTC-1 team, the third by the management team.

On December 8, in the arm wrestling tournament among 15 participants, the places were distributed as follows. In the category up to 80 kg: Serikuly M. (KTC-1), Musin B.B. (ROOK), Nukeshov Zh.Zh. (RVOK). In the category over 80 kg: Topolev A.V. (TTC-1), Kurmangaliev E.B. (RVOK), Abishev Zh.Sh. (ROOK).

The Spartakiad ended with a streetball tournament, where 6 teams competed. The KTC-2 team became the winner, KTC-1 took the second place, and CTAI took the third.
