GRES-1 Representatives Held a Career Guidance Meeting with EITI Students

As part of the “Samūryqnama: 20 Good Deeds” initiative, representatives of Ekibastuz GRES-1 LLP held a career guidance meeting with third- and fourth-year students of EITI.

The future specialists were addressed by Oksana Vladimirovna Prokhorova, Lead Engineer for Personnel Training, and Serik Beisenovich Seryanov, Head of the Production and Technical Department.

During the meeting, students learned more about the station’s operations, in-demand professions in the energy sector, and opportunities for professional development. Company representatives answered their questions, explained the specific nature of work in the energy industry, and shared their practical experience.

The meeting marked the first step in introducing students to industrial operations. The next meeting will take place at the station itself, where the future specialists have been invited on an экскурсион tour. They will have the opportunity to observe production processes firsthand, learn about the equipment, and discover how one of the region’s largest power plants operates.

Career guidance meetings help students gain a better understanding of their chosen profession and explore real opportunities to begin their careers in the energy sector.
