As part of a comprehensive emergency response exercise involving local authorities, civil protection forces, and designated critical facilities of the city of Ekibastuz, a tactical emergency response exercise was conducted at Ekibastuz GRES-1 named after Bulat Nurzhanov LLP with the participation of representatives of the Pavlodar Region Department of Emergency Situations, the Ekibastuz Akimat, and the Ekibastuz Department of Emergency Situations.

According to the exercise scenario, participants responded to a simulated emergency involving the rupture of an air pipeline at the nitrogen-oxygen station. The primary objective of the exercise was to enhance the practical skills of the management team, civil protection units, the fire department, and the industrial safety emergency rescue service in carrying out emergency rescue and other urgent response operations.

During the exercise, participants practiced emergency response procedures, situation assessment, interagency coordination, search and rescue of a simulated casualty, containment of the incident, provision of first aid, and evacuation procedures. To ensure maximum realism, the exercise utilized a training mannequin and specialized equipment, including fire engines, rescue vehicles, and an ambulance.

Following the exercise, representatives of the Pavlodar Region Department of Emergency Situations highly commended the level of preparedness demonstrated by the personnel, the effective coordination among all participating units, and the readiness of the station's personnel and resources to respond promptly and efficiently to emergency situations.
