According to the action plan for environmental protection in 2022, it is planned:
Air basin protection:
In order to ensure a high degree of flue gas cleaning from ash, electrostatic filters are annually repaired to maintain the efficiency according to passport data. Ensuring a high degree of cleaning of flue gases from ash due to the repair of ESF units No. 6,4,2; Reduction of dust content along the fuel supply path due to the performance of work on the suppression of coal dust, sealing and sealing.
Land resources protection
To prevent the negative impact on the environment of the ash dump, the waste part of the ash dump is annually recultivated 30 hectares per year.
Protection of flora and fauna
Landscaping of the territory. Planting of seedlings in the amount of at least 500 pieces on the territory of the industrial site of the power plant, flowers - 3220 pieces.
Production and consumption waste management
Ensuring the safe transportation of ash and slag waste. The use of production waste for own needs, the use of rubber products for sealing aprons.
Radiation, biological and chemical safety.
Carrying out radiation monitoring of environmental components.
Implementation of management systems and the best safe technologies.
Maintenance of the implemented environmental management system in accordance with the international standard ISO 14001. Implementation of operational monitoring systems on-line at the border of the SPZ.
Research, survey and other developments.
Carrying out work to assess the level of pollution of environmental components in the area of the location of the ash dump and storage tank for HP and BO. Study of the water and temperature regime of groundwater through a network of observation wells.
9. Advanced training on environmental protection issues through participation in republican and regional seminars on environmental protection issues.
