in the period from 05 to 22 December 2022
Every year, LLP "Ekibastuz GRES-1 named after Bulat Nurzhanov" holds, which has already become traditional, the competition - "The Best in Profession", timed to coincide with the celebration of the Power Engineer's Day. In 2022, this competition was held from December 5 to December 22 among employees of the following professions:
- Senior electrician for maintenance of electrical equipment of power plants;
- power unit operator (for the boiler) of the 7th category;
- power unit engineer (for the turbine) of the 7th category;
- fuel supply driver of the 6th category;
- repairman (OKiPPTS, PGTO, TP);
- electrician for the repair of RZiA equipment;
- electrician for maintenance of ASI of power plants.
Winners and prize-winners are determined for each nomination of the competition.
The main purpose of the competition is to improve the qualifications of personnel, the professional qualities of employees, to increase the prestige and recognition of the professional competence of working specialties in the Partnership.
The competition is aimed at improving the professional skills and abilities of employees, promoting the achievements and best practices of the participants in the competition, stimulating further professional growth, initiative and business activity, and forming a creative attitude towards the profession.
The competition is a competition that provides for the performance of competitive tasks, including testing the theoretical knowledge of the participants in the competition, their performance of practical tasks, as well as the ability to correctly and quickly provide first aid.
Specialists of the occupational health and safety service, engineering and technical workers of production structural divisions took an active part in organizing the competitions, thanks to which the competitions turned out to be interesting and rich, allowing them to fully evaluate the professional skills of the participants. And the members of the commission, chaired by the chief of staff of the general director, with the participation of the Chief Engineer, the head of the Department of industrial safety, labor protection and the environment and the Chairman of the trade union committee, strictly and competently assessed the correct and safe performance by the contestants of all stages of tasks.
According to the results of the competitions, the commission determined the winners and prize-winners in each nomination. They became:
- in the nomination "Power unit operator (boiler) of the 7th category":
1st place - Shchebetun M.V., power unit engineer (boiler) of the 7th category "Boiler Turbine Shop -1";
2nd place - Zhantenov M.B., power unit engineer (for the boiler) of the 7th category "Boiler Turbine Shop -1";
3rd place – Shaymardenov E.S., power unit operator (boiler) of the 7th category “Boiler and Turbine Shop -1”.
- in the nomination "Power unit operator (for turbine) of the 7th category":
1st place - Tulbaev K.S., power unit engineer (for turbine) of the 7th category "Boiler and Turbine Shop - 2";
2nd place - Shevchenko S.N., power unit engineer (for turbine) of the 7th category "Boiler and Turbine Shop - 2";
3rd place - Tleubaev K.E., power unit engineer (for turbine) of the 7th category "Boiler and Turbine Shop - 2".

3rd place - Smekhovich A.G., mechanic for the repair of equipment of boiler houses and dust preparation shops of the 6th category "Shop for the repair of auxiliary equipment of the boiler."

2nd place - Amanzholov T.Zh., electrician for the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment of the 6th category, workshop "Electric";
3rd place - Kadyrkhanov A.R., electrician for the repair of RZiA equipment of the 5th category, workshop "Electric";
- in the nomination "Electrician for maintenance of ASI of power plants":
1st place - Dzharlikaganov A.E., electrician for repair and maintenance of ASI of power plants of the 4th category, "Thermal automatics and measurements shop";
2nd place - Mynzhanov E.E., electrician for repair and maintenance of ASI of power plants of the 4th category, “Thermal automatics and measurements shop”;
3rd place - Assaubaev R.A., electrician for repair and maintenance of ASI of power plants of the 3rd category, "shop of Thermal automatics and measurements".
The award ceremony took place on December 22, 2022. in a solemn atmosphere. The winners of the competition in each nomination, who took the first places, were awarded with a diploma, with an additional payment for professional skills in the amount of 15% of the tariff rate for a year.
The participants who won prizes, as well as the immediate supervisors of the winners in the nominations, were awarded incentive prizes.
