In preparation for the upcoming October 6, 2024 national referendum on the construction of a nuclear power plant at Ekibastuz GRES-1 named after B. Nurzhanov, regular meetings were held with employees working on a daily schedule: KTC-1,2, TTC-1,2, CTAI, workshop of motor transport, SON and BEO, electric, ROOK, RVOK, RTO, ERO, RSAT, as well as shift operational personnel of the watch. Chairman of the NGO of the AMANAT party Seryanov S.B., head of the Department for Public Safety and TP Kairbaev A.N. and head of the department of the Central Research Institute Minguzhin E.Sh. told colleagues about the prospects for the development of the nuclear industry in Kazakhstan. The employees were presented with presentation material highlighting environmental aspects and the use of water resources, the world experience in nuclear power plant construction, the safety of modern nuclear energy, human resources and the fuel component of the industry.
The station staff asked their questions, to which they received detailed and comprehensive answers. The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, contributing to an open and constructive dialogue.
