Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sungat Yessimkhanov and Chairman of the Board of JSC Samruk-Energo Kairat Maksutov paid a working visit to Ekibastuz GRES-1.
During the working trip, the Vice Minister and the head of Samruk-Energo got acquainted with the progress of work on the restoration of power unit No. 1 and the repair campaign at the power plant as a whole.
Asan Naurzgaliyev, General Director of EGRES-1 LLP, reported on the station's readiness for the repair campaign, the availability of inventory and the mobilization of repair personnel. A report on the preparation of the plant for the upcoming heating season 2024-2025 was also heard.
As a result of the visit, specific instructions were given to the management of the station, including on power unit No. 1. In particular, it is necessary to prevent disruption of the timing of the installation of the turbopump pump and to start the start-up operations of the power unit on time.
