The employee of Ekibastuz GRES-1 Shabakbayev Batyrkan Omarovich was awarded the state award — the medal "Yeren enbegi ushin" on the Day of the Republic!

Batyrkan Omarovich is a professional with many years of experience, who began his career at Ekibastuz GRES—1 in 1997 as a senior foreman. Since then, he has tirelessly demonstrated a high level of skill and professionalism, constantly improving his skills and knowledge. In 2005, Batyrkan Omarovich was appointed head of the turbine equipment repair shop. During this time, he made a significant contribution to the restoration of all power units of the plant, including the launch of unit No. 8 after reconstruction, as well as units No. 5, No. 8 and No. 2 in subsequent years.

Over the years, he has proven himself not only as a competent specialist, but also as a wise mentor for young employees, helping them grow professionally. In addition, Batyrkan Omarovich made a great contribution to the elimination of emergency situations in Ekibastuz, promptly leading the restoration work to ensure the heat supply of apartment buildings.

His selfless work and responsibility have been recognized with numerous awards, including the titles of "Honorary Power Engineer of the Kazakhstan Electric Power Association", "Honored Power Engineer of the CIS" and the medal of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
