An off-site meeting on industrial safety was held in Bogatyr Komir and at Ekibastuzskaya GRES-1

The final meeting on the results of the industrial safety audit was held with the participation of Gibrat Auganov, Managing Director for Corporate Governance, Social and Labor Relations and Labor Protection of JSC Samruk-Kazyna, and Kairat Maksutov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Samruk-Energo. They heard a report by the first heads of Bogatyr Komir LLP and Ekibastuzskaya GRES-1 on the ongoing work to ensure occupational safety and health.

During the field meeting, experts from the Fund and other portfolio companies visited the coal mine and EGRES-1 and exchanged experiences of energy companies on topical issues in the field of industrial safety. It was noted that in order to achieve zero injuries, first of all, it is necessary to improve the safety culture of employees and ensure safe working conditions.

Following the meeting, specific instructions were given to ensure and create safe working conditions and improve the living conditions of employees of enterprises.
