The certificate of readiness for work in the autumn-winter period was received by Ekibastuz GRES-1 named after Bulat Nurzhanov LLP

Specialists of the State Institution "Committee for Nuclear and Energy Supervision and Control" of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan carried out work to assess the readiness of the power plant for winter. The experts analyzed the technical condition of the main and auxiliary power equipment, checked the readiness to work in winter conditions, assessed the level of personnel preparedness, including for actions in emergency situations.

Based on the results of the inspection, on October 14, 2022, the enterprise was issued a certificate of readiness of energy producing organizations to work in autumn-winter conditions for the period 2022-2023.

It should be noted that as part of the repair campaign in 2022, the following were completed: the overhaul of power block No. 6, the current extended repair of power block No. 4, the current repairs of power blocks No. 3 and No. 7, the overhaul of power block No. 2 continues. 

Ekibastuz GRES-1 is one of the largest electricity suppliers in the market of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and even before the start of the autumn-winter period, it demonstrated stable readiness indicators.
